From seed to final product: 100% Italian
Love for nature and the protection of the environment: this passion is the driver of all activities on our farm.
The family business Agricola Facchi was founded in 1969 in Romentino and later moved to Cascina Regina in Trecate. The traditional knowledge of producing typical local food has been passed down from generation to generation.
The farm philosophy is based on the love for plants and animals, which give rise to "real" products of excellent quality: white rice, black rice, risotto, biscuits, grissini, beer, honey, pasta and flour.
The farm cultivates around 300 hectares of land with a wide range of crops, including rice, soft and durum wheat, corn for polenta, corn for livestock, soya, buckwheat, permanent grassland and hazelnuts.
The historic part of the farm is the dairy barn, which has been passed down for more than five generations and is now home to around 200 Canadian Friesian cattle. About 75 cattle are in fattening (in production). The milk produced on the farm is destined for the production of Gorgonzola DOP.
The last development is beekeeping with about 50 hives, a perfect complement that closes a very important circle and underlines the love for nature and environmental protection. This passion is the driver of all activities on the farm.
To protect the environment and biodiversity, sustainable farming methods are used in the production of all raw materials - and thus also of processed products.
As a family business, each family member is specialized in a particular area to ensure the quality of the final products for our end customers.
What distinguishes this company above all is its history: We have been farmers for more than five generations. What has been passed down from generation to generation is the passion for this work, for taking care of the land and, finally, for bringing the best to our customers' tables.
Most of the products are directly grown and carefully selected, which guarantees easy traceability, a short supply chain, careful use of resources and extremely high quality: From the farmer directly to your table - who can offer that today?
