My objects are created when I look at and feel a piece of wood. Some pieces I always put aside for an indefinite period of time, because I am not yet sure what to look for in them.
Once I have entered into a dialogue with the wood, I constantly see and feel whether the wood agrees with me - together we find the way to uncover what has been hidden in the tree for many years. And so this common journey leads us to a wonderful unique joint work.
