85% Glera, 15% Perera

The full moon in September colours the steep vineyards of Collabrigo and Costa like platinum - this is where the name Platimoon came from.

The special thing about this cru, however, is the share of an ancient and almost extinct autochthonous grape variety: the "Perera" grape. In the past, when the clone "Prosecco" (since 1.1.2010 "Glera") did not yet exist, Prosecco was produced, among others, with the "Perera" grapes. However, since these are very susceptible and give little yield, they were increasingly rationalised away. 

Another special feature of this Prosecco is that only the Fattoria Conca d'Oro can produce this Cru, because its vines are located exactly in the "RIVE" (Venetian dialect for a steep slope) in the heart between Collabrigo and Costa. This makes it a DOCG "RIVE DI COLLALBRIGO COSTA" (Controlled and Guaranteed Origin).

There are only a few bottles per year and if you can get hold of one, you will immediately understand why this Prosecco DOCG is so unique.

Thanks to the adaptation of the Prosecco guidelines in 2020, it is possible to produce a genuine Rosé Prosecco DOC:

Glera - the only good and permissible Prosecco grape
Pinot Nero - the light, fruity and full-bodied grape that gives filigree fullness and suppleness

A guaranteed quality product (Denominazione di Origine Controllata) produced according to the new guidelines of the Consortium of Prosecco.

Tasting notes by Dani Schneider

Amazingly tart and very aromatic on the palate. The nose is dominated by an apple aroma with light notes of berries. The finish is short and purifying. After a piece of English blue cheese, the taste experience was perfect.  I would recommend this Prosecco Rosé DOC Treviso Brut accompanied by food: with a hearty salami and blue cheese, fondue or raclette, stuffed chicken breast, shrimp cocktail, culatello, pumpkin risotto or butter tagliatelle with truffle. For the aperitif, I rather recommend the Rosa Rosé Spumante, which is more lovely, but less able to assert itself with food.

There are different names for sparkling wines to which no sugar has been added in the form of grape juice or a sugar solution after the second fermentation: brut nature, ultra brut, pas dosé, dosage zéro, dosaggio zero. What they all have in common is that the residual sugar content is 0-3g/litre. Pas Dosé is not only trendy among the calorie-conscious - connoisseurs appreciate these products for their "genuineness" or "honesty".

This product was launched in 2020 and the Suisstroe team was thrilled: this Prosecco is even finer, more digestible and more delicate than its Extra Dry brother - something we did not think possible. We will include this product in our standard range - starting with the next order.
