This is made exclusively from olives from our own olive grove. There are a total of 180 trees, whose harvest yield is correspondingly limited, resulting in only a limited quantity of this in-house olive oil each year. The trees receive special and intensive care here, as they form part of the landscaped garden surrounding our home and our guest houses (www.ktirakia.com). The olives thrive here under more specialised conditions than is usual in purely agricultural cultivation, as they are individually fertilised with organic fertiliser and carefully pruned throughout the year. The trees reward us with particularly plump olives of excellent quality. The result is an oil that deserves to be recognised and distinguished as a premium-quality oil.
